Cốc Cốc ('Knock Knock' in English) browser is a freeware Chromium-based web browser focused on the Vietnamese market, but also has English version.
   It features:
» accelerated and resumable downloads,
» ability to bypass DNS blocking (blocked websites),
» media content (audio, video) downloads from most streaming websites.

• 64 bit: pcxFirefox, Waterfox.

DIY/Do It Yourself: Upgrade to the Latest Release

Requirements7-Zip, NPP/Notepad++ or other text editor, PortableApps.com Launcher Generator/PAL, PortableApps.com Installer/PAI.

1. Get the latest portable app. template, and extract the content with 7-Zip.
2. Get the latest Adobe Flash Player portable.
3. Get the latest Coc Coc release:
   1. Get the offline installercoccoc_standalone_en.exe,
   2. Open it with 7-Zip to find out the latest setup file name:
      open the 102~ entry with Open Inside #,
      find the biggest package, in this example 14.tar and double-click to open it,
      we find inside the executable file name is 62.4.3202.126_coccocsetup.exe.{C0CC0CBB-47DD-46FF-A04D-7011A06486E1}, we just need the 62.4.3202.126_coccocsetup.exe part,
      
   3. Use the file name to modify this URL:

      http://update.corom.vn/apps/browser/win/***version***/***exefile***
      

      into this,

      http://update.corom.vn/apps/browser/win/62.4.3202.126/62.4.3202.126_coccocsetup.exe
      

      Copy-paste the URL into a browser or download manager to download it.
4. Put the downloaded installer 62.4.3202.126_coccocsetup.exe in the same folder as the extracted template, in our example C:\0TEST, then open it with 7-Zip,
   double-click one browser.7z archive to open it,
   extract Browser-bin to CocCocPortable\App,
   
5. Open the Adobe Flash Player portable package with 7-Zip and browse into Pepper32 folder and extract pepflashplayer.dll to CocCocPortable\App\Browser-bin\plugins,
   browse to App\Browser-bin\***VERSION***, in this examle App\Browser-bin\62.4.3202.126, and delete PepperFlash folder.
6. We can't update the version yet, we have to look up the version from the browser's About menu. So let's generate the launcher and test it first. Run PAL, paste the template folder address C:\0TEST\CocCocPortable, and click Go—a new launcher will be created,
   
7. Test the new launchers by following this guide. Open the About menu to find out the browser's version,
   
8. Browse to CocCocPortable\App\AppInfo and open appinfo.ini file with NPP. Replace the [Version] section with the latest version number. Make sure the PackageVersion entry is in 4 place digit, eg. 68.4.126.0 not just 68.4.126,
   
9. If the test is OK, then delete the CocCocPortable\Data folder, CocCocPortable\CocCocPortable.ini file and run PAI, paste the package folder address C:\0TEST\CocCocPortable, and click Go—to create the installer package.
   
10. Use the installer package to upgrade your portable application. Don't forget to at least backup your Data folder before any upgrade :)
11. If you find any changes that's not handled by the launcher, consult the PAL help file to modify the launcher yourself or ask for our paid upgrade support.

Portability Notes

• Coc Coc do not have portable mode. It stores its settings in Windows registry and writes to Windows data folders while running.
• Make sure it exits cleanly before plugging out your thumbdrive.
• You can help by sending request to the official developer to add "portable mode" to their future release.
